Artnome has two missions:
Improve the art historical record through better data to help fight against forgery.
Highlight work by artists who deserve more attention, including artists working with tech and artists from underrepresented communities.
Thanks to my good friends at Christie’s, Anne Bracegirdle and Marisa Kayyem, I was able to share both of Artnome’s missions on stage to a live audience at Christie’s NYC last month.
First I presented on machine learning and analytics in relation to the art market, second by interviewing my favorite AI artist, Robbie Barrat, on stage. Christie’s did a phenomenal job recording the presentations and I am excited to share them with you below.
Machine Learning and Analytics: Predictions for the Art Market
An Interview with Robbie Barrat and Jason Bailey
Again I am super grateful to Christie’s for giving me this platform to shine a light on art and tech. I encourage you to watch all the presentations from the summit here.
If you found the topics in the videos interesting I would also encourage you to sign up for our newsletter below. And as a teaser, be on the look out for some big announcements from Artnome in the next few weeks to celebrate our second birthday!
